Client:  Public Transport Authority

Landscape Planners Pty Ltd has provided landscape architecture services for the Public Transport Authority since 1995, developing new rail corridors and station precincts as the Perth urban rail network has expanded. Scope requires the review of all landscape and urban design packages for the PTA.

Aubin Grove Station

Landscape Planners Pty Ltd completed the landscape architectural consultancy for the new station at Aubin Grove for Public Transport Authority. The station is a central median within the Kwinana Freeway with overpasses to carparks located East and West of the freeway adjacent to Russell Road, and a busway located centrally within the western carpark, the station has the largest Park and Ride within the metropolitan rail network. Constraints for the project involved location of the carpark within the existing western power easement, and the difficulties associated with providing landscape amenity within these constraints. The project was sensitive within the local community with additional amenity provided to local street scapes. The project was an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) with the Georgiou Group, and was completed in 2017.
